For routes that take you out of your routine.

Winner of the 2017 AJAC award for CANADIAN CAR OF THE YEAR and BEST NEW LARGE CAR, the new Golf Alltrack adds height, capability and style.

Sometimes you live life in the fast lane. Sometimes you drive with no lanes.

Drivers who expect more from their ride were the inspiration behind the 2017 Golf Alltrack. It’s still a wagon in spirit and execution, but this year it evolves, with an increased ride height that lends it the elevated air of a crossover. But while 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive and new raised suspension may give you more choices of roads to conquer, the 2017 Golf Alltrack still rides like a car and is just as fuel-efficient.

Mated to that capable new chassis is an efficient engine: The 2017 Alltrack comes to Canada with a 1.8 L, 170 hp engine, one more familiar to the Golf, Jetta, Beetle and Passat. It channels all that newfound power through a six-speed DSG Automatic transmission with Tiptronic, offering up a very responsive 199 lb-ft of torque.

The 2017 Golf Alltrack is ready to discover new places and get you far off the beaten track. But it’s just as ready to show off its rugged good looks cruising around town. With generous cargo space, sporty performance and off-road-ready attributes, it truly is the perfect blend of versatility and driveability.

Tailored for adventure
The difference is in the details

ASPHALT OR DIRT ROAD, mountain or coast: The design of the 2017 Golf Alltrack has been optimized so that you need not fear any rough use. It all comes down to balancing the style with the substance.

Outside, look for chrome roof rails, 18-inch Canyon alloy wheels with allseason tires, an Alltrack-exclusive front grille, front and rear bumpers, and front fog lamps with static cornering lights. (Add the optional Bi- Xenon headlights with Adaptive Frontlight System for added visibility and safety.) A panoramic power sunroof, and power-adjustable heated exterior mirrors with LED turn signals add to the comfort and safety.

Inside, look for Alltrack exclusive interior trim inlays, including dashboard and door trims, as well as a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, shift knob and handbrake lever. There is a 12-way power driver seat, heated front seats, Climatronic dual-zone electronic climate control and App-Connect smartphone integration. There’s also Driving Profile Selection, which allows you to tailor the ride to how and where you like to drive, including Off Road.

The cargo area features a 115 V power outlet, tie-down hooks and cargo cover—and with 60/40 splitfolding rear seats with centre armrest and pass-through, you can handle payloads that stretch almost the full length of the cabin.

When it comes to safety features, look for a full roster of airbags, rainsensing wipers, rear-view camera and Tire Pressure Monitoring System. From there, you can add as many options as you like, including the Driver Assistance Package, Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Assist and Park Assist.

So if you’re eyeing roads less travelled— or just want to elevate your level of comfort—discover the capable goanywhere Golf Alltrack. It’s loaded with features at a remarkably capable price.

Rain? Snow?
Hail? Blizzards?

Yup. We get that. Sometimes all in the same day. That’s why the 2017 Golf SportWagen is now available with 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive—so you can get out and find the weather you want.

It’s not easy being Canadian sometimes. You have to put up with some pretty incredible weather.

But, truth be told, we kinda like it that way. And if the choice is to hide inside until it all blows over or to get out and prove we’re unconquerable, we’ll meet you on the slopes. Or down by the river. Or anywhere else the action is. Because that’s who we are.

Those are definitely the types Volkswagen had in mind when it designed the 2017 Golf SportWagen with available 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive.

And while we may sometimes appear to be mild-mannered 9-to-5 types, on the weekends we’re ready to climb hills, build treehouses and generally check things off the bucket list.

With 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive available as an option on Trendline and Comfortline models and standard on Highline models, you can find the weather you want. In truth, it’s really the go-anywhere Golf, with all-terrain confidence, a refined cabin and more space.

In fact, the Golf SportWagen features more cargo space than any hatch/small utility. It’s more similar to most compact SUVs, though it retains the driveability of a compact car.

The Golf SportWagen’s tight handling and thrilling power might not be the first thing you expect from a wagon, but you’ll soon come to appreciate it. Its sporty aerodynamic lines strike the perfect balance between finesse and utility. And, with preventative technology like a built in safety cage and forward collision warning, the Golf SportWagen is designed to help protect you and your passengers.

Underneath it all, the SportWagen offers 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive, which moves power front to rear as required, which guarantees excellent traction even in the worst of conditions. It’s powered by a 170 horsepower turbocharged, direct-injection engine.

So if you’re looking for a car as Canadian as the people who drive it, meet the Golf SportWagen now available with 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive. Because life is too fun to worry about road conditions.

More Refined, more accessible and definitely more adventurous. The 2017 Golf SportWagen really is the Go-Anywhere Golf. It combines the performance of a sports car with the versatility of a people and gear hauler in one remarkably affordable vehicle. So, what makes it so perfect?

It’s about the Performance...

Available 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive with automatic transmission 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive offers better grip and a better driving experience. Under normal driving conditions, almost 100 percent of driving torque is sent to the front axle to save fuel. If road conditions change, however, the system calculates the optimal drive torque for the rear axle and shifts power accordingly. It helps ensure optimum traction on most surfaces even in adverse weather conditions.

1.8 TSI engine: The 2017 Golf SportWagen is powered by a 1.8 TSI engine, which delivers plenty of power to get you and your crew across town or across country. And you’ll enjoy fuel economy that will put a well-deserved smile on your face.

Available 6-speed Automatic DSG with Tiptronic: Switch to Tiptronic and truly enjoy the open road with all the sportiness of a manual transmission without needing a clutch.

The Technology...

Available Discover Media Infotainment System with satellite navigation: An easy-to-use Infotainment system featuring a 6.5” colour touchscreen with proximity sensors, CD player, satellite navigation and two SD card slots all at your fingertips.

Available App-Connect: Sync with your compatible smartphone and let select apps appear on the dash touchscreen. Then you can use voice commands to connect, listen, navigate and more. You can also dictate text messages and have incoming texts read to you. It’s the ultimate multi-tool. (Works via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink.)

Available Premium Fender Audio System: This 400-watt system delivers uncompromising clarity in high, low and mid range. And each of the eight speakers has been carefully situated to give you the very best listening experience possible.

The Versatility...

60/40 split folding rear seats with centre pass-through: Carry people and gear with ease. The 60/40 fold-flat rear seats give you plenty of options. Plus, the handy folddown centre armrest lets you carry longer items like skis and still have a seat for three passengers.

Variable cargo floor: The handy adjustable rear cargo floor lets you store rarely used items like washer fluid neatly out of the way. Or you can simply take it out to create additional cargo space.

And The Safety.

Available Forward Collision Warning: A radar sensor measures the distance and relative speed of vehicles in front of you and warns you if it detects the possibility of a rear end collision.

Available Park Distance Control: When parking, sensors in the front and back determine the distance between your vehicle and a solid object, like a wall or another car. A beeping sound changes tone to let you know as you closer to the object.

Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS): In the event of a collision, this automatic safety system disables the fuel pump, turns on the hazard lights and unlocks all doors.

Standard rearview camera: The rearview camera gives you a better view of what’s behind you when you’re backing up so you can avoid obstacles you may not notice using the mirrors or by turning your head.
